France: Modèle 1914 Equipment d'Infanterie de Sangles

Fitting Instructions

sportifsac au dosMills-Bruzon Pattern had a French language, illustrated pamphlet, but more probably produced by the Mills Equipment Company. However Mdle 1914 was a French production – so does any French reader have any instructional material? Les Invalides have been approached, but have thus far not seen fit to reply.

In the meantime, we have included a plate from Commandant Emile Charles Lavisse's Sac au Dos, (Hachette et Cie, Paris, 1902). This illustrates the French leather Mdle. 1893 Equipment d'Infanterie, which Mdle. 1914 duplicates in webbing.
